for obtaining an immigrant visa:
Under Resolution of the Ministry of Labor and
Workforce Development:
- Power and application by counsel. The power must include the
full name of the parents concerned and the application must specify
all of the attorney general (office address, telephone number,
fax number and PO Box if any), the general comprehensive checks
are given (check number, bank name, date and amount), all documents
are attached and the foundation of law.
- Management or certified check in the amount of one hundred balboas
(B /. 100.00) for the National Treasury.
- Management Certificate or check in the amount of five hundred
balboas (B /. 500.00) for the Ministry of Government and Justice,
as a deposit for repatriation.
- Medical certificate of good health, issued within three (3)
months preceding the date of filing. The certificate must have
the signature and seal of the doctor's name, code and registration
number.
- Police record of the country of origin (only where he is less
than 5 years of continuous residence in Panama).
- Police
record issued by the Judicial Technical Police.
- Original passport with a minimum validity of six (6) months.
- A photocopy of the passport page, showing the general data of
the person concerned.
- Two (2) passport size photographs.
- Resolution issued by the Ministry of Labor and Workforce Development
(MITRAB.), which authorizes the person concerned to work in the
national territory as an employee within the 10% or 15%, or confidential
employees or Work Permit indefinitely. If no resolution to date
of the visa application, can submit the certificate issued by
MITRAB. which indicates that the permit is pending or copy simple
and power application by counsel to the MITRAB, pending the submission
of the relevant work permit once approved, to continue the application
for visa processing.
- Charter Working on office letterhead of the business or employment
contracts with the company seal, countersigned by the MITRAB.
and photocopy of the business license.
As married to a Panamanian:
- Power and application by counsel. The power must include the

- Management
or certified check in the amount of B/.100.00 to the National
Treasury.

number.
- Police
record of the country of origin. This requirement is only
required when the individual is less than 5 years of continuous
residence in Panama.
- A photocopy of the passport page showing the general data of
the person concerned.
- Two (2) passport size photographs.
- Original passport with a minimum validity of six (6) months.
- Marriage certificate issued by the Registrar, issued within
six (6) months preceding the filing date of the document.
- Birth certificate of the wife, issued for the Civil Registry.
- Photocopy of valid personal identification card of the wife,
certified by the Civil Registry.
- Resolution issued by the Ministry of Labor and Workforce Development
(MITRAB), which proves to work in the concerned country. If at
the time of filing the application has no resolution, may submit
a certificate issued by the MITRAB, which indicates that the permit
is pending or copy simple and power application by counsel to
the MITRAB, pending the submission of the respective a work permit
may be approved for the visa application and continue processing.
- Working Charter or Charter promise of work. The visa as married
to a Panamanian / a is subject to a decision of the Ministry of
Labor.
- Interview marriage.
Note: All documents are issued abroad, must be submitted duly authenticated
either by the "Haya
apostille" issued by the country of origin or by the Embassy
or Consulate of Panama in the country that issued them and by the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Panama.
The certified check or Management is issued by a bank upon request.
The bank guarantees payment of the check.
